The Eggery Place Carving Contest

This Carving Contest is an opportunity for egg carvers all over the world to participate in a contest against other egg carvers, to win ribbons, certificates, and prizes.  It will be judged by professionals in the egging community.  This contest is not affiliated with the International Egg Art Guild Masters Program.

There will be three levels, Childrens, Novice and Experienced.  All eggs submitted must have been completed in the 12 months prior to the deadline of the contest entry date.  (For the 2010 contest, the egg must have been completed after August 1, 2009).

Childrens is a carver that is under the age of 16 years old as of August 1, 2010.  All work must have been done by the child.

A Novice is a carver who has commenced carving only in the two years prior to close of entries (This would be after August 1, 2008) and has not won a first place in any competition.

An Experienced would be a carver that has been carving for more than two years or has won a first place in a competition.

These three levels will be broken down into the same categories.
